Gas Unternehmen aus Malaysia reduziert Reisekosten durch Fernwartungslösung 

Ein Unternehmen aus Malaysia, was an mehr als 700 Kunden Gas liefert erfuhr eine steigernde Ineffizienz. Der Gasverbrauch der Kunden wurde nicht zentral abgerchnet. Somit suchte das Unternehmen eine Lösung die Daten aus der Ferne abzugreifen und schaute sich einige automatiesierte Bezahlungssysyteme an. Dieses System würde es dem Unternehmen erlauben deren Kunden akkurater und effizienter abzurechnen und somit die Profitabilität zu steigern.

Zuvor mussten alle Daten jeden Monat aufs Neue manuell gesammelt werden. Die Entscheidung fiel auf eine GSM Vareiante, die VPN-basiert ist und somit automatisch alle benötigten Daten zum zentralen Bezahlungssystem bringt und zugleich die Rechnung generiert.

Das Gas Unternehmen hatte sich für den “Industrial Cellular Gateway” von ProSoft Technology gepaart mit Flow Computern entschieden. Nun werden alle Daten zum zentralen Kontrolzentrum des Unternemens gesendet. Die Information werden mit Hilfe von OpenVPN sicher verschlüsselt.

Das Unternehmen führte den Support und das Pricing von ProSoft Technology als entscheidenden Faktor an, der den Ausschlag für die ProSoft Gateways veranlasste. Weiterhin war das ATEX Zone 2 Zertifikat ein weiterer Vorteil. Als weiteren Vorteil sah das Unternehmen die Reuzierung der Reisekosten.
