Successful implementation overview
1)  Import the ILX34-AENWG-Diagnostic rung of ladder and edit the message instructions.
2)  Import the jpg files into your FactoryTalk View ME images folder.
3)  Import and modify the FactoryTalk View ME parameter file (*.par file).
4)  Import the ILX34 FacePlate display into your FactoryTalk View ME Application.
5)  Create the navigation button to display the ILX34 faceplate.

Import the ladder logic
    This rung of ladder must be imported.  If one tries to import this as an Add-On Instruction it will fail.
    Before importing the rung of ladder, verify that the ILX34-AENWG module has been added into the I/O configuration tree in RSLogix 5000.  This can be achieved after installing the ILX34-AENWG Add-On-Profile.
    When importing the rung of ladder, please verify that all tag names are unique, and that the I/O mapping selected is correct.
    
    Once the rung of ladder has been successfully imported the 3 message instructions communication paths will need to be modified in RSLogix 5000.  To do this enter the message configuration and click on the communications tab.  Then select the browse button for the path and navigate to the ILX34-AENWG that this instance of the faceplate references.  It is necessary to do this for each message instruction.
    
    
Import the icons into the ME application
    Import the ILX34sm and Signal-Strength jpg files into your ME application. (If you would like to use the Diagnostic Overview display than you will need to import all of the 1756 *.jpg files in addition to the RLXIB-IHNsm jpg.)
    If you elect to change the name of the file, than you will need to go into the faceplate and point it to the newly named image file after importing the gfx file.

    
Import the ILX34 FacePlate display into your FactoryTalk View ME Application.
    Take the exported xml display and import it into your project.
    
    
Import and modify the ILX34 parameter file
    It will be necessary to create a new parameter file for each instance of the ILX34 that exists in the application.
    Feel free to modify the name of this parameter file to contain a specific instance of an ILX34.
    After importing the parameter file, do not forget to open, modify, and then save it.  (The parameter file is commented to enable easy editing)
   
    
Create a GoTo navigation button on a display to launch the faceplate.
    Optionally, you can use the ILX34 jpg as the image for this GoTo navigation button.
    Select the parameter file that you have imported and modified earlier to be executed.
