ProSoft Technology’s Hilarious Video for Automation Fair® 2013 Wins Award

Bakersfield, Calif., June 26, 2014 – ProSoft Technology’s video promoting the company’s appearance at Automation Fair® 2013 has won an Award of Excellence from the APEX Awards.

The video – which stars ProSoft employees Cole Chandler and Ian MacIntosh – was made by ProSoft Technology videographer Michael Auffant.

“The awards were based on excellence in graphic design, quality of editorial content and the success of the entry in conveying the message and achieving overall communications effectiveness,” according to the APEX 2014 judges.

With daring humor, the video’s stars delivered the pertinent information about what Automation Fair® visitors could expect to see at ProSoft Technology’s booth – including the technology behind the company’s Ethernet to Belden® 9463 Blue Hose® Industrial Media Converter.

“Our promotional videos are like nothing you’ve seen in the automation industry,” said Danetta Bramhall, Commercial Marketing Manager at ProSoft Technology. “Rather than put you to sleep, they convey the fun environment at ProSoft – while also clueing you in to the exciting new products we offer. That personality and innovative nature was on display at Automation Fair® too – as was a cardboard cutout of Cole for all his fans.”

This is the second award ProSoft Technology has received for its Automation Fair® 2013 marketing campaign. At the EE Times and EDN 2014 UBM Tech ACE Awards in April, the company’s Marketing Department won a special Honorable Mention in the Marketing Team of the Year category for its work on the trade show.
