PROFINET Device Module for ControlLogix®

ILX56-PND

The ILX56-PND PROFINET Device Module allows Rockwell Automation® ControlLogix® processors to communicate on a PROFINET RT protocol network supporting up to 1440 bytes of cyclic I/O data.

Combined with the use of multiple I/O connections back to the ControlLogix processor, this module provides data update rates that will meet even the most demanding of PROFINET RT applications.

In addition, with the use of the PLX50 Configuration Utility you have advanced features such as custom-built Add-On Routines and User Defined Data Types (UDTs) to minimize the amount of time and effort in getting a ControlLogix PAC operating on a PROFINET RT network.

The ILX56-PND also supports media redundancy (using the Media Redundancy Protocol – MRP) as well as PROFINET Controller redundancy (using S2 Controller Redundancy).
