Legacy Modbus® Module werden durch neue Module ersetzt

Seit mehr als 20 Jahren werden die Modbus® Kommunikationsmodule von ProSoft Technology für die Rockwell Automation® ControlLogix® genutzt. Um diese Technologie  auch in der Zukunft einsetzten zu können haben wir gute Neuigkeiten: ProSoft Technology hat weiter in diese Technologie investiert und stellt die neue Lösung als weiteren Teil zur Migration zur Verfügung.

Das MVI56-MCM Modul wird aufgrund von veralterten Komponenten zum Juni 2019 auf den “End-of-Life” Status gesetzt. Dementsprechend hat ProSoft Technology eine neue performantere Version auf den Markt gebracht. Für die meisten Applikationen kann das verbesserte (E-Version) Modul als direkten Nachfolger des MVI56-MCM Modul genutzt werden  – Sie müssen nicht einmal die existierenden ControlLogix Parameter ändern.

Einige ältere Versionen des MVI56-MCM Moduls müssen nur minimal verändert werden – hier steht Ihnen unser Teams des technishen Support natürlich jederzeit zur Verfügung. Es wird Ihnen erklärt, wie unser Team Ihnen bei dem reibungslosen Übergang Ihrer Modbus Applikation hilft.   

Einige weitere Module sind ebenfalls von dem Status betroffen und sind ebenfalls einfach zu tauschen. Erfahren Sie hier mehr über die unten stehende Tabelle, die das alte und das neue Modul gegenüber stellt.
