Die hochwertigen Wireless Produkte von ProSoft Technology haben jühnst an Mehrwert für Maschinenbauer gewonnen! Unsere Produkte unterstützen nun die NAT (Network Address Translation) Funktionalität. Dies wurde in unser RLX2-IHNF, IHA und IHG implementiert.

Was ist NAT?

NAT is eine Funktion , das die IP Adresse auf der einen Seite von einem Netzwerkgerät anders ausschauen läasst als auf der anderen Seite des Moduls.

Was bedeutet das?

Für Maschinenbauer könnte das eine wesentliche Vorteil mit sich bringen. Schauen wir uns mal beispielhaft einen OEM an, der 30 identische Maschinen in einem System eingebunden hat. Das ist häufig bei Fahrerlosen Transportsystemen (FTS), Fördersystemen, Fahrgeschäfte in Freizeitparks und ähnlichen Applikationen der Fall. Der Hersteller der Maschinen möchte bei allen Maschinen die gleiche Programmierung vornehmen – aber die “Gesetze des Ethernets” besagen, dass jede Maschine mit einer einzigartigen IP Adresse versehen werden muss. Anstelle des Wiederholens der Programmierung jeder Maschine kann man nun die NAT Funktionalität in unserem RLX2 nutzen.

Ist das wirklich vorteilhaft?

Die NAT Funktion im RLX2 eliminiert einiges an Programmierungs- und Testzeit für die Maschinenbauer. Zeit ist Geld!

Wie bekomme ich dieses Feature?

Sie müssen einfach Ihre RLX2 Funkmodule auf die neuste Firmware Version 37b updaten. Diese ist auf unserer Webseite verfügbar!
